Front Yard Work - Cleaning the Stoop with RYOBI Pressure Washer

This post is sponsored by Ryobi Tools.

Well hello!

I'm back with another installment of our front yard work. This time is all about a good and powerful cleaning.

Earlier this year, we started taking care of our front and back yards, reviving the lawn, uplifting overgrown bushes in the front yard, re-arranging the flower beds, planting new bushes, adding mulch, and taking care of all our outdoor spaces.

This is the progress pic at the end of my previous post when these flower beds were updated.

Our next task was to address the stoop. As you can clearly see, those steps have been neglected for years. 😖

The last time the stoop was cleaned up, I did it by hand, and boy, that was a full-day investment. No wonder why they went back to looking this nasty.

This time, we were lucky enough to have the help of this powerful RYOBI 3100 PSI Honda Pressure Washer. and all that cleaning went by effortlessly in fact we even enjoyed it and went on to clean other areas of the yard that were in dear need of a scrub.

And guess what?

Mr. RLC took charge of this fabulous toy!

You can see him in action in this video he made:

He did the assembling, which is the bare minimum... Installing the power hose and trigger holders.

Connected the power hose and garden hose.

Then, the provided lubricant and the fuel were added.
It comes with complete and clear instructions for you to set it up without any trouble.

It is equipped with a 5-in-1 nozzle for easy spray-pattern changes.
The mister started by power washing the siding; he didn't use soap because it was a scorching day, and he didn't want to deal with stuck-on soap. All the cleaning that day was done with only water.

Cleaning the concrete stoop was the main task for the day.

And let me tell you, pressure washing is a rewarding way to clean this structure. You get immediate results!

It's kind of addicting. You want to continue cleaning all those dirty surfaces!!

Here, he continued with the walkway.

Guess what?

I was dying to give it a try! :D  It is so powerful!

This is how the steps looked; they were all cleaned up and still wet. The rust marks didn't go away, but they were minimized.
Look at how pretty that stoop showed the following day, all dried up and petunias flanking the door. 😍

The mister also cleaned this part of the siding in the back of the house.

That's just amazing!

We still need to go all around the house, and we also need to clean the wooden fence. It needs to be done one step at a time. ;)

That's the beauty of owning a pressure washer. You clean at your own pace.

For now, I'm delighted with the super clean little stoop.

Hmm, I need a wreath on that door.

The next steps in this front yard makeover are to paint the door and the railing and try to get rid of that rust once and for all. :/

We highly recommend the RYOBI 3100 PSI Honda Pressure Washer for most jobs around the house. It is a small investment for all the cleaning jobs it can perform throughout the years.

My only suggestion to RYOBI tools would be to give a longer power hose.

Here are some of its main features:
  • Powerful Honda GCV190 (187cc) OHC engine
  • Idle-down technology for fuel savings, reduced noise, and longer engine life
  • 5-in-1 nozzle for easy spray-pattern changes
  • 25 ft. power flex hose bends like rope for easy management
  • Maintenance-free aluminum pump
  • On-board detergent tank for hassle-free cleaning
  • Roll cage frame design keeps the engine protected in rough conditions
  • 3-year limited warranty
  • You can choose the best nozzle that fits your pressure washer needs.
