Red and White Christmas Home Tour

plaid and red and white Christmas bedroom

breakfast set decorated for Christmas

Here I am, two days before Christmas sharing my home tour.

I know.

Late.

Well, very late!

I was trying to finish all the Christmas decor on the first week of December but I guess I didn't try that hard. :/

As I always say... Next year it's going to be different.
I do hope so.  ;)

I've already shared some of the rooms, I'm adding the links to those rooms in this post, no need to make this one too long.

So, let's begin with the kitchen.
white and red Christmas kitchen

As you can see, I'm enjoying my newly painted breakfast set.

Green Christmas arrangement for back of chair and in white pitcher

Red snowflake placemats and white dishes continue the theme. Cuttings from the yard were used to create cute arrangements.

red roman shade in Christmas kitchen

My kitchen is so small, I try to keep its decor to a minimum. The roman shade was updated with a new fabric.

decorating for Christmas with natural elements

And the rosemary I planted in the window herb box during Spring got a red suit for the holidays.

Apples on a cake stand are the main decor on the island.

red and white Christmas mantel with snowflake art, candles and polka dots

The focus in the adjacent family room is the fireplace, where the mantel was dressed up with big red snowflakes...

And a new set of stockings.

This is the room we spent most of our time. Here my daughter working on some Polymer clay gifts for her friends.

A few more decorations complete this room.

Noel alphabet block art in living room

In the living room, the Noel window art is what grabs most of the attention. This is the room where I've been wrapping all my presents.

polka dot and brown paper Christmas presents

It's also here where we have our Christmas tree. This year I made most of the ornaments.

tablescape with red and white accents for Christmas

The contiguous dining room is all set up for our Christmas dinner.

red bottles, candy cane napkin holders and candelabra on Christmas table

On one of the walls I hung a quilt I made a long time ago, the first one I ever made and probably the last one too. ;)

white dishes for Christmas table

I'm loving the new set of dishes I got like a month ago. Those bumpy edges are so fun!

multi light votive candelabra on table

However, what I love the most about this table is the centerpiece, it gives such a glow to the entire room! I got the candelabra for two dollars during one of my flea market outings. In order to give it some height I mounted it on a scrap piece of 4x4.

plaid and red and white Christmas bedroom

The master bedroom was given the plaid treatment.
Christmas in the bedroom with books on bench and present

The red and white theme goes so well in this room too.

Bookcases decorated with vintage cameras for Christmas

My husband's collection of vintage cameras takes center stage here.

guest bedroom decorated for Christmas

Last but not least the guest room. It was the easiest room to decorate for Christmas, it already sported the needed colors.

A little tree...

window treatment and small Christmas tree

And a few other decorations, and done.

I hope you have enjoyed the tour. I'm going to be away from blog-world for the remaining of the year. Next week I'm only going to post the year's recap.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

XOXO
