2017 Fall Home Tour Part 2 - The Patio

Patio bistro set decorated for Fall with lantern full of pumpkins, lights and plaid tablecloth

Today I'm excited to join a fabulous group of bloggers gathered by the gracious Kristi from Chatfield Court, as part of the Welcome Home Fall Tour!

For those of you coming over from Laura at Duke Manor Farm, isn't her home amazing?!
These past weeks I've been working really hard trying to give my kitchen a needed update. Seven years had passed since I painted the cabinets and they were looking very sad. I'm almost done re-painting the cabinets and making some other small changes, but as usual, when work is done to the main room in the house, everything around it is complete chaos! :/

Well, I managed to bring some touches of Fall to my
bedrooms during the first part of my Fall home tour right HERE.

For this, the second part, I headed outdoors.  Ahh, this past week was pure bliss.
The weather was gorgeous!

In the mornings you could find me here, gardening, or simply watering the plants.
Metal Star String Lights
Oh, and I've been chasing away some bothersome bunnies that come to have breakfast in my garden. They have been munching on my mums.  😠

And it looks like they can't jump or haven't noticed all the blooms above their heads. :)

In the evenings you can find us here. The cooler Fall air is the perfect excuse to set the fire pit.

The thing is, when we get out here, time flies! Well, that usually happens when you're having a good time, and yes, we enjoy spending time out here.

mums and pumpkins for outdoor decor

The bunnies haven't found the mums here on the deck. The ones left without a single bloom were the ones in the flower bed.

Anyways, during Fall, besides the fire, there is nothing more comfy or cozier than a good amount of pillows and throw blankets.

A throw blanket as a tablecloth and somehow that meal will taste way better. ;)

It's good to have a good amount of them, because as the night sets in, it gets chilly! Me and my daughter are the ones to get hold of most of them . :)

On another note, I finally got some pumpkins, two weeks ago they were no where to be found. Nothing easier than stashing them in a lantern or container.

Our must have dessert... S'mores! Yes. We don't get tired of those.

Moscow Mule Mugs
As we never get tired of closing a day with a hot tea. Yep. Coffee in the morning, tea at night. ;)

Well, there you have it, I hope I have inspired you to add some simple touches of Fall to your outdoor space. :) Now is the time to go out there and enjoy it!

  5. This is so warm and inviting. I could see myself getting lost by that fire with a hot drink. You make a beautiful home and I have been a long time fan of your kitchen and your son's room. I can't wait to see your kitchen refresh. I already love the range hood.
