Having a small kitchen makes it a challenge to keep it organized. We have to be creative about finding ways to store all those big and small kitchen gadgets, food, dishes, and everything else we need in our kitchens!

But what I like most about my kitchen is that, even though it's small, it is easy to keep organized thanks to the many storage solutions I've created.
For instance, a few weeks ago, I was having trouble getting the knives in and out of the little drawer space where I kept them. I didn't want the knives stored there, against each other, especially after ordering a brand-new, very sharp knife set!
The solution to the knife problem was buying a wooden magnetic knife strip.
I love it!
I installed it on the side of the fridge, in the fridge enclosure.
I did pre-drills, and then the screws had to be barely outside the strip for it to have a tight fit, no movement.
The magnet is strong. I have to slide up the knives to remove them from the strip.
I like that I now have more space in the drawer and that I'm not cluttering the counters. 😉
