Patriotic Tablescape - Let's Celebrate the Stars and Stripes!

Cristina Garay - dogs

I love to pull out my red, white and blue stash to decorate the backyard for the Fourth of July and the Summer ahead! This year It was even more enjoyable as I set another patriotic tablescape over at my SIL's house.
Her backyard is delightful and as you can see, I had plenty of company, which was awesome too!
Lot's of puppy kisses and fetch the ball breaks while setting this table. :D

Sophie, the Golden Retriever was always ready to play.
Piper is a good sport, she nicely says hello to everybody and gives you kisses from time to time, and then she goes happy-go-lucky minding her own business.
My Louie, the Yorkie, is always super happy to visit these girls! He can't stop admiring Sophie! :D

Ok, let's continue with the tablescape.

The table was set here on the right side of the deck. I love this view looking towards the back of the yard. My Sil planted plenty of red geraniums which worked perfectly, they all look like fireworks!

For the table's centerpiece, I collected some clippings from around the yard. Some Summer Sweet blooms, a couple of hosta flowers, red flowers from a tree, and even some little red berries.

RED, WHITE & BLUE

Well, yes. It's a patriotic tablescape.

The American flag in the background sets the tone here. It's so striking!

The first layer on the table was the gingham tablecloth or better yet, -a piece of fabric. I had this remnant piece of fabric that I simply cut in half and hello, now I have a tablecloth. :)

The denim-covered chargers are the base for each of the settings. I found these chargers at Michaels a long time ago. I went ahead to see if they still have them, but nope. I couldn't find them anywhere.

The stripe cloth napkins were grabbed from my Christmas décor box, they were placed underneath regular white dishes, which are the main curse plates.

I always love to top this type of setup with a salad paper plate printed on the theme of the holiday. In this case, the flag. I like that I don't get stuck with the same plates for a long time. That's what happens when I buy theme ceramic or porcelain plates.

The umbrella was also working in my favor, as well as the entire dining set. I love the grid pattern on those chairs.

My SIL was the one in charge of the food. I don't even know what she put in this blue drink, but it was super refreshing!

Most of the buckets, bowls, and little flags I've had for years, and probably you will see them again and again.

The other side of the deck was also given some patriotic touches.

Oh, hard to notice, but I also like to lay a string of fairy lights on the table. These lights HERE, which are LED are my favorite because they're LONG! They run on batteries and last forever. They come with a remote and timer & they have eight modes. The price is great for a set of two.

After setting the table and taking the pictures, Sophie was still there waiting for another session of fetching the ball.  The other two... ha they were busy bothering each other. ðŸ˜…
