Top Ten of 2016

Hi Friends,

It's that time of year again, time to look back at all we did during 2016, and see what worked, what didn't, and learn and prepare for the year ahead.

As usual, I compiled the projects that I created during this year, that got the most views. There are a couple of surprises, but overall, they're projects that I loved working on and I'm glad many of you enjoyed them.

So, let's start at number 10. The final project that was tackled this year.

I was a bit surprised to see it climb to the top ten because the reveal was during the month of  December, but I'm glad to see it was that well received.

Check it out, a plain room that got a set of built-ins, a new ceiling treatment, and it was decorated in its best farmhouse Christmas attire. >

10. DINING ROOM MAKEOVER

a plain dining room is transformed with a rustic planked ceiling, built-ins and lots of great accesories.

Workshop projects are always fun, this one, an easy wooden door mat decorating my front porch during Spring made it to the 9th spot,

8. BUILT-IN AROUND BED

Using old desks to create built-ins around the bed was a good decision to skip building the bases and the many drawers that I wanted to have in this room.

7. SCRAP WOOD HOLDER

During the Summer of this year, I gave my garage a good cleaning. The many pieces of wood got organized, and most of them fit nicely in this wooden cart that I'm still using.

And, for the views this project has received, I see many people out there looking for a way to organize that scrap wood pile!

6. SPRING HOME TOUR

Home tours are always fun, home after home we go checking how well they got dressed for the new season. My Spring home tour was the one to get the most views this year. Well, not a big surprise because it was the first tour of the year.

5. GARAGE ORGANIZATION - How to install a pegboard

Installing a pegboard is an easy and economical way to bring organization to a garage.

Well, I installed two pegboard sheets and I'm loving having a place where to put most of my tools. I might install one more this year, you know, I keep on getting new tools. ;)

4. STOP REFILLING TINY CONTAINERS!

This is one of those projects that you've been thinking about doing for a long time and when you finally give it a shot, you can't stop wondering why it took so long for you to do it!

Yep, it's that good.

3. DIY - STOCKING HOLDER

There are always one or two projects that go wild thanks to Pinterest.

This project was the one to get good exposure on Pinterest that made it climb to the top three most viewed.

2. TEEN BOY ROOM REVEAL

My son's room not surprisingly made it to the top.

Another room to get completely changed with lots of DIY projects. I thought this was going to be number one but to my surprise... The first one was...
