RLC - Top Ten Projects of 2015

Hi Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to welcome the new year!

I've been MIA these past weeks, trying to finish some projects and enjoying the holiday with my family, though I was sick and couldn't host Christmas at home. :(  I'm now feeling much better but headaches are still bothering me every day.

Today is my end-of-the-year review of the posts published this year that climbed to the top ten most viewed.

I just got a couple of surprises, but overall they are all projects/posts I was very happy and proud to work on.

Let's take a look, beginning at number ten. ;)

10 - BEACH PILLOW

This is one of the surprise posts, some old/repurposed jeans and a story from the heart were the main ingredients, plus the power of Pinterest.
old jeans, pillow, rattan basket, driftwood garland, seashells

9 - COFFEE TABLE MAKEOVER

A thrifty table got a new life and extra storage.

8 - SMALL CLOSET MAKEOVER

One of the biggest projects this year, the closet in my son's room got a complete makeover. You have to check the before to really appreciate the after.

boy room closet, shelves, drawers, flip-out storage bins, shoe shelf,

7 - TEN EASY & ECONOMICAL WAYS TO DECORATE YOUR HOME

A beautiful model home is a great setup to learn easy and economical ways to decorate your very own home.

6 - KITCHEN ISLAND MAKEOVER

The kitchen got a mini-makeover this year. I'm still loving how much brighter the kitchen looks with this new color on the island.

5 - SUMMER HOME TOUR

I think we all love to go to visit homes and get ideas for our own space. Summer was a great time to do just that!

old windows as art, metal buckets with anchors and red tulips, white sofa and blue and hot pink pillows

4 - KITCHEN ORGANIZATION IDEAS

This is a favorite of mine. I love to see ways to keep my small kitchen organized and it looks like I'm not alone. ;)

3FALL HOME TOUR

I'm telling you, home tours are great. My fall home tour climb to the third spot!

2NEW TRIM FOR RANGE HOOD

If home tours are great, kitchens are even better. The busiest space in our homes is also the one we're always trying to improve.

1 - DIY - ABOVE FRIDGE TRAY DIVIDER - Kitchen Organization

Finally, the winning post this year was a project a kept postponing for a very long time. I'm so happy with how organized this cabinet is right now, and with all the storage space I gained by adding the divisions. You can check the detailed tutorial right HERE.

  1. I personally think you're a house whisperer, Cristina. Everything you do is magical, really. I'm also a little surprised the barn door and wood floor in your son's room did not make the top ten cuts. Great list. Happy New Year!
