I was supposed to be working on a painting project.
More exactly...
A spray painting project, but the temperature has being SO low, it was impossible to do that.
Instead, I was sitting in the family room
working on my computer, enjoying the warmth coming from the fireplace.
:)
And that's when I noticed for the hundredth time that the over-mantel was left so empty after taking down all the Christmas decor.
The wooden pallet was the only thing left.
Sad, I know!
So, after finishing my work, I headed out to do some errands.
Making sure my to do list included...
Stopping by the Dollar store to buy something for the mantel.
Ha, I think those were six dollars and forty one cents that were well spent!
Back home, the search for ribbons, pillows, and small stuff to complete the theme started.
Most of that is stuff you've seen before.
Like the beaded heart, or the red pillows, or the rattan basket.
Who wants to spend a fortune on a one day holiday decor!
Yep, six dollars and forty one cents was the right amount.
;)
P.S. I bought interlocked hearts like the ones below, they were the size I needed.
I had to separate them and then fix the cut wires with strong tape.
