Welcome to the third day of our 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments series.
If you like easy...
Super easy projects, this is the one for you. ;)
The only materials you'll need are Styrofoam balls, yarn and hot glue. Oh well, I think I forgot something else...
Yeah, this is one of those projects that is better to complete while watching your favorite show on T.V.
A glass of wine would help too.
And hey, only one glass, otherwise you're going to end up with wiggly lines! :)
Going round and round...
Securing the yarn here and there with a dab of glue...
Giving the yarn a new direction after another little dab of glue, and continue...
Until completely covered.
But if you're not that patient...
I have you covered too. ;)
There is an even easier route with ribbon.
Applying the hot glue onto the ribbon and pressing those edges firmly, trying to close them up to the best or your ability.
In the end, if you're a good hoarder like I'm, and have saved every little ornament top/holder (how do you call them, anyways), secure one at the top with hot glue.
Some yarn will also work at keeping those ribbon edges hidden.
I think they look really cute! However, I'm going to wait 'til next year to cover another one with yarn.
Hmmm that's going to be a new tradition.
