DIY - Concrete Tray

concrete tray
One of my favorite summer activities is relaxing in my backyard at the end of a busy day with an ice-cold drink and chatting away with my family while the sun sets down.

That's exactly what we were doing at this moment after we brought out all those drinks and essentials to the backyard atop this handy dandy tray.

Don't you hate having to go back and forth from the kitchen to the backyard bringing out all those essentials?!

I know. A tray is an excellent way to minimize those trips, and today I'm sharing with you how you can create this awesome industrial-looking tray that can stay outside because it really is super strong!

Hello... is concrete! 👊

I love the warmth that the wood inlays impart to the cold concrete slab, and how about those chunky handles?

Well my friends, welcome to another edition of Home & Decor Encore where my blogging friends and I share the best of the best from our archives.

Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses and Lori at The Stonybrook House for organizing this share.

In today's posts Doreen shares her beautiful French country chair planter, Lori has us covered on how to prepare a delicious homemade salsa, YUM, I love salsa! Laura takes you around Duke Manor Farm to discover the three plants that go the extra mile in the summer heat, Christy shows us how to arrange a neutral summer mantel and I share a fun DIY serving tray using concrete and wood. This tray has served me so well throughout the years. It still looks brand new!
