The easiest way to do it, IMHO, is to paint the kitchen island a brand-new color. It'll only take you one afternoon and less than a quart of paint, and you'll enjoy a new island and kitchen look for years to come.

Yep. A really dark - chocolate brown kitchen island.
Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses for organizing this group.
In today's posts, Doreen shares how to create the cutest fortune cookie Easter eggs. Lori has a tutorial on how to easily extend kitchen cabinets to the ceiling. Laura shows you how to make easy jute placemats. Christy gives you all the details for creating your very own wire basket wreath, and I share the steps to paint a kitchen island with chalk paint and add a glaze to highlight its features.
Happy Easter, friends!

Victoria
