As usual, the place I like to decorate for Valentines is my family room mantel. Well, not only for V-day but for most of the holidays. Being this the room my family uses the most, I can truly say we really enjoy the new decor that comes with each new season or holiday.
It's fun when I see my kids close to the fireplace, especially during these cold days, warming themselves up and playing around with the stuff I place on the mantel. Even before taking the pics I noticed the garland hearts were mysteriously disappearing! :)
This year's focal point is the Heart Art, thanks so much for your kind comments on this project. It was placed a top one of the old windows that got painted ASCP-Duck Blue.
However, I don't know why,
I was not happy with only one big, gigantic heart.
Nope.
I went heart hunting. :)
Recycled beaded hearts were brought up.
And a handful of Fabric Hearts were also added.
Yeah...
I'm now feeling like the Queen of Hearts!
Truth is,
These were the tools I used. ;)
A sheaf of arrows I created.
Hmmm, no other way around it.
Timing was perfect...
Perfect for Valentines.
