The Knock Out Roses Are In Full Bloom

This Memorial Day I want to express my gratitude to all the military men and women who sacrificed their lives in the name of our country. ❤️

I hope you're enjoying the long weekend. We are still on lockdown, which means, this holiday weekend is being spent at home getting busy with stuff that needs to be done around the house.

The mister power washed the little deck here in the backyard on Saturday and yesterday I was putting everything back where it belongs. It felt so good to be out here, the weather was fantastic!

While working here, I couldn't stop staring at the Knock Out rose bush every time I could. It's displaying such a majestic show. :)

Three years ago, this is how it looked after a few months of being planted there in the raised garden.
I remember all the digging that was involved to create that garden, I knew it was going to be worth it.

This is what I get to see from inside the house.
What I love the most about Knock Out roses is how easy is to take care of them. They keep on blooming all season long. Well, all the way from Spring till frost.
All I do is fertilize it and prune it during mid-Spring. I also secure the branches to the fence whenever I see they're going too low.
Right next to the rose bush is this plant that I have no idea what its name is, love those pink blooms. I grabbed some of them to create the wreath.
These pictures were taken a few days ago. Yesterday I was giving those chairs a new coat of paint... Yellow for the win.
It was hard to take close-ups of those roses! The bright day, the deep color... Who knows what was going on!

You can find all you want to know about Knock Out roses right here. Just in case you're thinking of giving them a try.

I couldn't be happier with my Knock Out roses, I highly recommend them!

You can get them in red, pink, white, or even coral!

Enjoy your week!!
