Gold, White and Bright Christmas Kitchen

Hey everyone!

I'm so excited to be joining this fun Christmas kitchen tour hosted by sweet Tammy from Pink Peppermint Design. If you're coming from touring Chelsea's beautiful kitchen, welcome!

If you're one of my regular readers, you probably know that I'm working on updating my family room and as of right now that room is in complete chaos with the built-in construction. But guess what? Nothing like a good Christmas blog hop to tidy up at least one room in the house. :)

At the end of this post, you'll find the links to a whole bunch of beautiful kitchens.

Last year I decorated my home with lots of red and wooden tones. This year I decided to add gold to my usual white background, accentuating it with small touches of black. A complete turnaround that I'm loving!

The gold tones give my usual rustic decor a good amount of glam.

Christmas decor in the kitchen is usually to the minimum. Small kitchens can't be crowded with lots of decor.

A white ceramic bowl filled with ball ornaments, fairy lights, and greenery is the centerpiece of the kitchen island.

I removed the window shade and whoa, the kitchen is now filled with lots of light.
Plain NOEL letters there on the little top window make a big statement. And the little starlights add a dash of magic to the space.

The window sill is the perfect spot to display some of my little Christmas trees.

A small metallic wreath on the hood and gold ball ornaments on the cupboards give lots of Christmas cheer to this area of the kitchen.

I like that I can still use all the plates and bowls without having to remove many of the decor items.

Mugs

These glass canisters are always in use.  Flour, sugar, and rice gotta stay here, but gold stick-ons make them more holiday ready.
Glass jars

The same treatment was used on the wine glasses, using a snowflake puncher and gold contact paper.

 They're ready for a party!

And I think I went a bit overboard with that puncher! :)
