Saturday Vintage Inspiration

Happy Saturday everyone!

Can you believe that there is only one more day left in January?

CRAZY

Time flies.

The only thing that makes me want for time to fly, is when I'm waiting for warmer days.
Oh yeah, these cold temperatures are no fun for me.

Anyways. whatever it takes, warmer temps are on their way.  ;)

Today, I want to warm up your Saturday with the gorgeous inspiration I gathered two weeks ago during my visit to the Old Lucketts store in Leesburg, VA. That same day I also visited Sweet Clover, you can find those pics right HERE.

Even though we went in early January when there were some half-empty rooms and others that were being transformed, there is always so much to see at Lucketts.

I love this cozy French country bed. The -love you- pillow, was the perfect little detail.

The wallpaper was the first element to grab my attention inside this room, it's so beautiful and romantic.

The dresser and those twin vintage beds... Ahhh, beautiful!

 One more bed.

The grocery sign is what pops up in this picture. However, I couldn't stop staring at that cute fox. :)

I think the stenciled detail on the curtain panel is very charming, something easy to DIY on drop cloth curtains.

A very rustic display here with this Farmer's market chalkboard sign and the little old chair.

I have no idea what is this. I love the texture this would give to a room if used as art.

Lots of chippy-painted furniture, of course. :)

Gorgeous black vases.

And this metal boat is lovely!

This cute gallery wall on the steps on my way out made me laugh:

Be the kind of woman
that when your feet hit
the floor each morning
the devil says:
"Oh crap, she's up!"

:)

  1. Oh- You had me at that first bed! Love this post- what a lot of beautiful things to see! I wonder if that "peg board" thing was an old handmade weaving loom of some kind? You know -kind of like the small ones the kids use to make potholders- only much bigger? Pretty post, Cristina! Have a great weekend- xo Diana

    1. Diana, I was drooling over all those beds, they're so pretty! That's what I also thought... A weaving loom, but when I searched online I couldn't find anything similar. :(
Thanks for stopping by sweet friend!
