Flea Market Time: June Treasures and Sunny Finds
Welcome back to another installment of Flea Market Time! If you've been following along, you know there's nothing I love more than a weekend spent hunting for hidden gems. This June, the weather was absolutely perfect, and I'm thrilled to report that—unlike my last outing—I came home with bags full of wonderful finds.
As always, it was a family affair. I spent the day enjoying the sunshine with my husband and daughter. My daughter had a slightly different mission this time, though; she was busy volunteering for the event organizers, the Germantown Historical Society. It's always great to see the community coming together to keep local history alive!
My Favorite June Finds
Vintage-Style Blue Mason Jars
One of the highlights of my haul was a set of three 7" blue Mason jars. They have that classic, rustic charm with lids that look authentically weathered and old. While the glass itself feels a bit newer, I couldn't resist that striking blue hue. Whether they are true antiques or clever reproductions, at $7 for the set of three, it was an absolute steal for my home decor.
The next items were from a vendor that had a "anything on the table $1" sale.
I love the red sign on it.
Burlap Beauty: Budget-Friendly Textiles
I also managed to snag a burlap rice sack that will be perfect as a pillow cover for the guest room. I've had a photo on my inspiration board for ages featuring pillows with this exact rustic design.
Charming Decor & Garden Accents
Vintage Glass Bottle ($1): To keep my collection growing, I grabbed a glass bottle with a unique little faucet feature.
It's already found a home on the powder room shelves.
- Rustic Watering Can ($4): Originally marked $8, I chatted with the owner about its condition and walked away with it for half price!
I can already see it adorning my potting benches.
- Colorful Candelabra ($4): I love the lines and colors on this piece, though I'll admit the jingling bells are a bit much every time I move it! I'm still searching for the perfect spot for this one.
Lighting the Way: Sconces and Pendants
It seems my "decorative lighting" switch was flipped on this trip because I found some incredible fixtures!
Backyard Sconces ($1 each): A set of wooden sconces for the backyard... assuming it ever gets finished! 😌
- Geometric Sconces ($10): I couldn't pass up the diamond-and-circle patterns on these.
- The Mystery Pendant Light ($13): This was my biggest "flea market win." It was originally $50, but thanks to a 75% discount, it was mine for $13.
The Final Tally
All in all, we spent $45 for the entire day. For a car full of treasures and a beautiful day with the family, that is a win in my book!
Many of these June finds have already been put to work. You can see how I used them to decorate the guest room right HERE.

ReplyDeleteFind one of your nearest flea markets, their prices are usually better than the ones at thrift stores. Well, you have to check by yourself because it varies from town to town, but of course give it try!
