Our Christmas Tree

artificial tree decorated with blue ornaments and garland

Our Christmas tree is not a Fraser fir or Blue spruce...

And no, is not a Scotch Pine either...

It is a regular artificial "Scottsdale" pine tree!

But no, it's not the name or the type of tree that makes it special to us.

No.

It is those special moments we shared while punching those big circles for the hundredth time or the tiny snowflakes that were so incredibly fun.

It was the time we shared while cutting all those little pieces of tape...

blue and grey paper circles and many pieces of tape to create Christmas garland.

Or while gluing the snowflakes onto that final garland for the tree.

It is the old tree skirt that got a new cover to go better with the theme, thus keeping all those past memories in place!

Perhaps what makes our tree the most special are all those memories the kids have created every year to be displayed on it.

Or underneath.

Those first close friends have to be by the side...

XOXO

  7. Your tree is so beautiful, Christina, and the best part is the love that decorates the tree, and under the tree, and in the precious stuffed bears from other years. That is the true joy of Christmas, the love and the sweet memories. Your tree is a perfect example of that!

  9. Hi Cristina, I love your Christmas tree. The ones filled with special memories over time are the most beautiful of all, in my opinion. :) The garland is so pretty, as are all those sweet sweet ornaments put together with tiny little hands. Love.

  10. The colors are very nice and nothing wrong with a artificial tree. I want one myself. All the ornaments are so pretty and I think it's adorable that they are made by your kids.
