Fourth of July Celebration

Hi friends!

Summer is here, the kids are already enjoying the long, care free days the season brings, and of course, I'm with them, not only enjoying the warm days of summer, but also the company of my family that came to visit us for a couple of weeks.

Our days have been full of activity... Going to the pool, visiting places, going shopping...
So much so, that it has also affected our meal times, forcing us to have
quick outdoor meals, but hey, we're loving them. :)

I think this is the perfect setting to put those easy outdoor entertainment ideas that the Creative DIY Team is bringing to you today, because really, this is the time to be outdoors enjoying family and friends.

For this month's project I decided to set an easy outdoor table with the colors of the flag.  At the end of this post you will find the links to visit each of the outdoor projects the other team members have created.

First of all, this is not my backyard, I brought most of the things I needed to my SIL's house. Her big, beautiful backyard is where most or our summer celebrations take place.

Striped Plates  |   Denim Charges: Michels  |  Striped Paper Runner: Jo-Ann Fabrics

Blue and white striped paper runners are the base for this tablescape. Denim covered chargers, striped plates...

Metal Pails: Target

Lots of little flags, and even red roses from the yard are some of the simple touches given to this table.

Economical pails with the colors of the flag create a beautiful centerpiece that not only look good, but also serve a purpose.

Bench

Doesn't she look gorgeous wearing the patriotic bandana? ;)

Yes friends, outdoor entertainment can be easy and stylish!

Now, be sure to visit my friends to check the SIMPLE outdoor entertainment ideas they've put together:

    1. Try Thrift stores. They are full of it and it's cheaper than the antique stores. It is good for Christmas décor also.
