Kitchen Organization and More

January 22, 2021

Updating the kitchen was that very first home project I tackled long ago. Getting rid of the orange-y cabinets by painting them white, adding a backsplash, upgrading the countertops were all big projects that brought lots of beauty to our dated kitchen. However, the planning and configuration of the inside of the cabinets was that part of the entire kitchen renovation that turned it into an organized kitchen where I like to work.

January 20, 2021
small living room area - Apartment living

Having an organized home not only reduces stress, but it also improves the quality of our lives. If your home is a small apartment like the one I'm sharing with you today, then, organization is even more important!

Last year I went on a few trips to our closest Ikea and I finally got to upload the pictures I took of the little apartment they designed within the store. I found it so beautifully designed and decorated, and I especially liked the many ways in which storage was added to this tiny space. I have to say, it's storage that looks good!

A cozy Paris bedroom in pink, white, black and gold

It's reveal day for this Parisian bedroom makeover that belongs to Diana, a sweet young lady, one of my daughter's friends. I have to send a big thank you to her, for trusting me and allowing me to go in and move things around and have fun decorating her bedroom.

Before I move onto the pretty pictures I need to show you the starting point. Diana had recently

Paris room with gold mirror

The perfect mirror for my Parisian bedroom makeover needed a good dose of glamour. Well, yes, it needed a good 'ol coat of gold paint and I was very happy at how easy and inexpensive this little makeover turned out to be.

As some of you already know, I'm working on bringing style and glamour to this renter's room you see in the picture below on the left. It belongs to one

Top Ten Posts of 2020

top ten projects of the year

Most of us can agree that 2020 was a tough, challenging year. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought of being in the midst of a pandemic, and here we are hopefully reaching the end to such a disastrous sickness.
It's been a tradition for me to go back and look at the stories that have done well during the past twelve months. Even though it looks insignificant right now compared to all the sorrow and uncertainty this 2020 brought to our lives. Lives put on hold, kids learning at home, lost jobs, missing family get togethers, celebrations, and many of us losing loved ones.

Paris Gallery Wall & Ikea Ribba Frame Hack

December 23, 2020
Hello there!

Do you like gallery walls? I sure do! I think they're a great way to bring a good punch of style to any empty wall or room. Today I have a beautiful Paris gallery wall to share with you, which has a little Ikea hack in the works, perfect for renters who can't drive nails or screws on those walls!

For the past couple of weeks I've been working on bringing warmth and style to the room you see in the picture below. It belongs to one of my daughter's friends, her first room/apartment after venturing in the world on her own and she needed help bringing her vision to reality.
