Black and White Halloween Mantel

I haven't shared a mantel display in a while and since I don't decorate much for Halloween, I thought about setting an easy black and white and far from spooky mantel that will also fit the bill.

I went shopping to Target and once I passed the entrance door I had to stop at the dollar section all packed with Halloween goodies.  The budget was set from the beginning: Twenty dollars to add to all the Halloween decor I already have at home.

The highest price went to the
ravens and bats wall decal. The five bucks were totally worth it because they are the ones that give the display height.
Same way and price for the spooky tree. Besides, all those birds and bats needed a tree where to land! :)
The remaining budget went to the little foxy, the bat garland and a set of two kitchen towels, three dollars each.
I placed one of the towels inside that old frame and voila... Instant art!
The Foxy girl gives the entire ensemble a good pop of color and charm.

Look at those legs! 😍🦊😍
All the other stuff, mostly faux pumpkins, I had to bring them up from the basement.
Don't you love it when a plain spot in your home gets spruced up so easily and affordably?!

  1. Your mantel is so adorable! I love how you added height with the bats...so creative. Isn't the Target dollar section the best?!!
