Patriotic Table For Two

The fourth of July is almost here and even though I'm not planning on doing a big celebration, I always like to decorate a room or set a table for the occasion.

Yesterday's gorgeous evening motivated me to set a table for two in a little corner of our deck. The kids were gone and while the mister prepared dinner (something that doesn't happen frequently), I got busy getting all my red, white, and blue decor out.

Old jeans were upcycled and turned into this tablecloth. By the way, that was my last sewing project before my sewing machine stopped working. And that was also the last project done while trying to get rid of one big pile of old jeans. You can check these projects HERE that I also created out of that jean stash.
Red geraniums and white petunias made a good centerpiece.

White dinner plates and my blue transferware played their part too.

I like to set the table ahead of time,  I use it and disassemble everything, and then, when the real holiday arrives I already have all that's needed at hand.
It was a warm and breezy evening that I enjoyed for the most part, except that the wind kept on blowing away those stars on the railing. :/
Most of the patriotic decor I got from the dollar deals at Target.  The star and stripes pillow cases are from Pottery Barn.

Any plans for the fourth of July? I hope you have a great one!
