Pumpkins adorning our front steps, warm colors filling our rooms, and cozy textiles being brought out of storage. This summer in particular has been amazing as I have spent it outdoors creating memories with my family. I had no idea where it was.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI have three hot glue guns.\u003Cbr \/\u003EOne that's big and uses oval glue sticks. - I don't like it. It's too bulky and I can't find those sticks easily. Of course I run out of glue sticks for that one.\u003Cbr \/\u003EI have another one, a tiny pink hot glue gun and that's my favorite. It's the cheapest one I've found, it always gives the right amount of glue and it fits perfectly in my hand.\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe other gun is one upgrade I bought for the little pink. It cost me like five times more, and it doesn't work that well. The glue keeps running even without pushing the trigger. Oh, I don't like it!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe problem was, I couldn't find them. I know, crazy!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut, let's go back to the wreath. ;)\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI found this -Easter- wreath at the clearance section of T.J. Maxx, for only three bucks, I didn't mind the bunny only had one ear.\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter removing the bunny and the carrots. Then, you begin thinking about something else, but that first idea keeps on bugging you!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EHmmm I was there.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EPlan B came without even thinking about it while spending time with \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.remodelandolacasa.com\/2012\/12\/teen-girl-room-reveal.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003Emy daughter in her bedroom\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EYep, it was there, in her bedroom, where this vintage printer's letterpress drawer-tray was being used and POP, the idea came. Those two pieces are the remnants of a crib. I used the back of this crib and part of the sides on the \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.remodelandolacasa.com\/2014\/06\/wjjrie.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: large;\"\u003Edaybed\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E for the guest room, the base has also been used as a decoration, you can see it here in \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.remodelandolacasa.com\/2013\/12\/inndjfers.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: large;\"\u003Ethe dining room\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003ESo, these two pieces looked to me as a gate and I thought why not to use a gate as a mantel decoration?! Posts with finials were added, and the finials are from a curtain rod I haven't used like in 13 years!
