A bunch of chairs alongside the yellow walls, two folding tables and a few boxes full of publicity material.\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003EOh, I wanted to get rid of those yellow walls as soon as set foot in there, but nope. There was no place to put\/store anything other than the folding tables and floor!\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003EMy first project was to install a \u003Cspan style=\"color: #e06666;\"\u003Eh\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.remodelandolacasa.com\/2018\/05\/Hgdrerc.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"color: #e06666;\"\u003Euge dry-erase calendar board\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E on this wall. While they arrived, I also worked on the builds for this space: Three desks\/tables and a shelf.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEverything was cut, finished and semi-assembled at home. Some of my boards were wider than others.\u003C\/i\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ci\u003EHave in mind that the blade also eats a good amount of the board.\u0026nbsp; The thing is, you don't need precision for this project.\u003C\/i\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAt home, cut each of the planks at 12\" intervals, getting 8 squares out of each plank for a total of 36 squares.\u0026nbsp; You'll only need 35 to have a board similar to the one I created. But, as with any DIY project you can set the dimensions to fit your own space\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI bought two 8' x 4' boards, thinking on using some of the squares on other projects around the office. She was so embarrassed because her boss had arrived and they were there busy working on something important and \"those stupid boards kept on falling!\". 😡\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cb\u003ETHE SOLUTION:\u003C\/b\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWell, \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2yWtIk9\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"color: #e06666;\"\u003ECommand strips\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E to the rescue!\u0026nbsp; I bought two of these value packs for this project, and if you use only one board, one package might be enough. I bought two because there were many other things I needed to hang on those walls without damaging them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThese command strips are the way to go, they're like Velcro. You put together two strips, Velcro side together, peel off the paper on one side and stick it to the small board... Repeat with as many strips you want to secure to that board.\u003Cbr \/\u003EI used three strips on each board, I think it was a bit overboard, because the boards don't weight more than a pound. At first I only used two, but the boards were swinging a bit when pressed to the wall. I didn't like that movement since they're going to be used for writing. So, three strips were secured on most of them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cb\u003EUPDATE\u003C\/b\u003E:\u0026nbsp; Be sure to place the two of three Command strips \u003Cb\u003Ein the same spot\u003C\/b\u003E in every single square. That way is going to be easy to update the calendar each month.\u0026nbsp; I thought that moving the sicker numbers was going to be easy, but nope.
