DeWalt Framing Nailer & Organizers AND My New Project!

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.
DeWalt storage compartments

Last week I was in organization mode in the garage. I finally brought down to the garage the final pieces of wood, lots of screws, and little extras that were leftover from the bathroom renovation. They were still there in my bedroom!

In the garage I also had those extra pieces from the old bathroom, you know... like the old lights, old pipes, and outlets that we removed... They were all in a couple of buckets.  And that's a little tip if you're getting into a renovation... When you do the demolition, save most of the stuff, or those things you might need when you begin the building phase. Maybe you won't use them, but it's good to have them just in case. We used the old light sockets before installing the new lights and also reused some of the pipes.

Anyways, I still had that bucket and many other parts that I finally got rid of during a trip to the recycling center.

Then, it was time to put the tools in their proper space. Oh, and organize the many screws that were flying around! :D

This DeWalt 10 Compartment Deep Pro Small Parts Organizer was perfect to keep those screws at hand and organized. I used a Sharpie to write down the screw measurement on the inside of each bin.

I like that each bin is removable and when the entire organizer it's closed and you bring it to your workplace, the screws stay in place.

This smaller DeWalt 10-Compartment Organizer is the one that I use for my Kreg Jig screws. You can remove the dividers to better utilize the space to your needs.

And you can stack it onto the bigger organizer for easy transport.

I love the clear lids on these organizers, I can see what I need of what I have in there without even opening them. And they're though.

I highly recommend these organizers. Great quality and great price!

Now, I was so happy to review this new DeWalt 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion 21-Degree Cordless Framing Nailer

If you've followed me for a while, you know that I already own cordless nailers. In fact, I also have a set of pneumatic nailers that I stopped using when I got the battery-operated ones.

Because, really, who wants to deal with a noisy compressor and a hose when you can skip them altogether!

I have battery-operated nailers that I always use to install molding around the house, but I was missing a nailer for heavy-duty stuff.

See it in action:

This DeWalt framing nailer is exactly that, a though nailer capable of driving 21-degree fasteners from 2 in. to 3-¼ in.

I think the time for finishing my basement is getting closer! :)
You can also use this DeWalt framing nailer for fencing and deck applications.

Updating my family room. Check the before:

UPDATE: You can check the AFTER of this family room right HERE.

The main shot you usually got of this room is the one of the fireplace/mantel. But, that's about to change.

I have plans for a big wall of built-ins in here, I need space for all that stuff laying around!  :D

That's what's coming next. I'm already buying materials and emptying the room because I want to finish it before Christmas is here! ðŸ¤ž

I'll give you more details in an upcoming post.

Stay tuned!
