Easter Table with Wooden Name Tags

wooden name tags - tea cup - pink flowers

A beautiful Easter table in Pink and gray

An Easter table decorated with colorful ranunculus, a fun tablecloth, and the cutest wooden tags!

This past weekend I got busy getting everything ready for Easter.  That's not my usual, but hey, this is our Spring break, and I have planned outings for this week. So, for once and for all, I'm a little bit ahead of things, and it feels so good! :)

I set this table, and I'm not touching it. I might need to buy new flowers and other goodies, but that's all.
The idea for this tablescape started about two weeks ago. It was one of those rare warm days we had. You feel like this is the perfect day to go outside and take care of the mess in the garage!

Well, I spent most of that day in the garage, but not exactly cleaning. At the end of the day, it looked even worse than when I started. :/

I was separating pieces from the scrap pile, trying to get rid of the ones I knew I would not use, but I got a little carried away before I knew it. This project just popped!

The primary materials for the wooden name tags are scrap pieces of wood, a Sharpie, and a DREMEL Stylo

Dremel Stylo+ set

This little tool is like a pen/pencil used to engrave, carve & sculpt. It has many accessories for you to start working on wood, metal, glass, leather, etc.

I really like it. It's easy to use, and I often find myself using it. It's a very versatile craft tool.

Well, you can see it in action in the following video creating the name tags:

Besides the tags, these ranunculus are the ones stealing the show. Love them!

I used a throw blanket as a tablecloth, it has a good amount of texture.

The name tags are double-sided.  This side shows the name, while the other side was carved, and it looks like a furry bunny thanks to the texture done with the Dremel.

These were the sweetest berries I've had in a long time. I was eating them while taking the pics. :D

The little nest plates always make an appearance during Spring.
