Halloween Home Decor - The Easy Way

I don't decorate for Halloween that much and especially with spooky stuff.

I still remember that Halloween when my daughter was about four, we had just moved into our new house and of course I had to decorate it for the occasion!

Ha those witches and skeletons kept her awake all night!  :-(
She grew out of it one slooowly step at a time.  Still at 12, she didn't want to visit party stores during Halloween.

Now days she is not that little, scary girl anymore, however, I don't like to buy things that are too spooky, just in case ;)

I wanted to decorate, again lightly, but without buying new stuff. We are having an invasion of crows, they are every where, here on the windows in the living room, a top the black branch and wait 'til you see the other rooms ;)

Well, I think those silhouettes are so neat, whether they are crows, bats, mice, etc.,  they are very cheap or you can even make your own, they make a good statement.

One of my son's old customes came in handy as pillow decor ;) the vest fits the pillow nicely.  Black gaffer's tape adorns the lamp shade.

The mantel stayed with the same Fall decor, but those crows found their way there. The leaves on the garland got good company too ;)

This bookcase in the family room was no exception.  Crows and frightened cats made it their home.

My son's pencils became home decor just because...  Just because they are black :)

Old Halloween decor was simply updated with a new bright ribbon and its "new" again.

But wait a minute. They also got in the dining room!

Well, just as easy as they came in, they are going to come out ;)

Because, remember, it's the easy way ;)
